VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION OF 50-60 MPH WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. UPON IMPACT, BOTH AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK

THE RESERVOIR'S ATTACHMENT POINTS TO THE VEHICLE CHASSIS ARE MADE OF PLASTIC AND FAILED DURING DRIVING. THE RESERVOIR FELL INWARD AND RESTED AGAINST THE ENGINE BELT, WHICH MELTED A GROOVE INTO THE RESERVOIR. I AM CONCERNED THAT A FIRE COULD HAVE BROKEN OUT AS WELL AS A DAMAGED ENGINE BELT -- ALL FROM A CHEAP METHOD OF RESERVOIR TANK ATTACHMENT. I HAVE DIGITAL PHOTOS THAT I WOULD BE GLAD TO SEND TO YOU UPON REQUEST.
