The factory adhesive/anti-flutter sealant that bonds the outer hood skin to the inner structural frame has physically separated. There is a clear gap where the outer panel is no longer attached to the frame. As a result, the outer hood skin flexes and vibrates, especially at highway speeds. Impact / Safety Concern: The vibration and movement of the outer hood panel occurs directly in the driver’s forward line of sight. This creates a visible distraction while driving and can draw attention away from the road. Because the outer skin is no longer properly bonded to the structure, the condition is progressive and may worsen over time. Dealer Response: I documented the adhesive separation on the work order. The service advisor lowered the hood insulation and photographed the panel separation. Despite clear visual evidence, the technician closed the concern as “no issue with the hood insulation” and “no fault found.” The same separation was also observed on another CX-50 at the dealership. I am filing this report so the condition can be properly documented while the vehicle remains under warranty.

The drivers side inside door handle has quit working twice. The dealer has temporarily fixed it both times, but advised us to "just be more gentle with the handle". The cable is falling off of the door hinge inside the door, and the dealer claims they don't have a way to permanently fix it. They just put it back on its mount. We are afraid that the driver will not be able to escape the vehicle in an emergency. Both instances have been under 10,000 miles. The door handle works perfectly fine until it doesn't work at all. No warning given.

Door handle cables detach easily which prevents the door from being opened from the inside. It has happened to me twice on my driver side door the last 5 months. Research online shows this is a very common problem with newer Mazdas and it is a major safety hazard as it prevents easy exit from the vehicle in the event of an emergency, especially if there is power loss so the windows cannot be opened.

Structure
An indentation in the rear bumper may be noticed SAME AS sa035/22 BUT DEALER said is not applicable to my vehicle even when is the same deffect.
Mazda North American Operations is recalling certain 2025 CX-50 and CX-50 Hybrid vehicles. The front suspension fastener bolts may not be tightened properly, which can result in suspension component and/or wheel detachment.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Wheel or suspension component detachment can cause a loss of vehicle control and a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the front suspension fastener bolts and, if necessary, replace and tighten them, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 10, 2025. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500 Option 6. The manufacturer's number for this recall is 7925J. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 3, 2025.

Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An air bag that deploys improperly increases the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the module software, free of charge. Owner notifications will not be mailed due to all vehicles being under Mazda dealer control. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500 Option 6. The manufacturer's number for this recall is 7625F.
