The vehicle experienced a loss of motive power while stopped at a traffic light and would not accelerate when the accelerator was pressed. The failure appears related to the powertrain/electrical system. The vehicle was unable to move and required a restart to regain propulsion. The vehicle remains available for inspection upon request. This failure placed my safety and the safety of other road users at risk due to the inability to proceed through an intersection as expected, creating a risk of collision. The problem has not been reproduced on demand, but it has occurred at least once and is consistent with an active safety recall (A7C) related to loss of motive power. The issue has been discussed with the manufacturer and a dealer, both of whom confirmed that no repair or interim remedy is currently available. The vehicle has not been physically inspected by the manufacturer due to the lack of an available repair. No warning lamps or messages were present prior to the failure, and the loss of propulsion occurred without warning.

I am writing to demand the immediate buyback of my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe due to catastrophic safety defects, multiple recalls, and Stellantis's own actions that have rendered this vehicle unsafe, unmarketable, and virtually worthless. The confluence of critical safety recalls, stop-sale orders, and the announced phase-out of this model line has created an untenable situation that warrants full repurchase of this defective vehicle. CRITICAL SAFETY DEFECTS AND RECALLS My vehicle is subject to the high-voltage battery fire risk recall, which poses an imminent danger to my safety, my family's safety, and public safety. The risk of spontaneous battery fire—even when the vehicle is parked and turned off—is unconscionable and represents a fundamental failure in engineering and quality control. I purchased this vehicle with the reasonable expectation that it would not pose a fire hazard that could destroy my property or endanger lives. Additionally, this vehicle is affected by the engine casting contamination defect, which compromises the structural integrity and reliability of the engine itself. This is not a minor defect; it strikes at the core functionality of the vehicle and raises serious questions about long-term durability and safety. STOP-SALE ORDER AND PHASE-OUT ANNOUNCEMENT Stellantis has issued a stop-sale order on these vehicles, effectively acknowledging that they are unfit for sale to consumers. If this vehicle is too dangerous and defective to sell to new customers, it is equally unacceptable for me to continue owning and operating it. The stop-sale order is a public admission of the severity of these defects. Furthermore, Stellantis has announced the phase-out of the Wrangler 4xe line, which has immediate and devastating consequences for vehicle value, parts availability, service support, and resale potential. Driving down the road with vehicles on opposite side and vehicle shut off with no warnings and had no steering. Had to turn vehicle on and off 3-4 times to get back to home. Recall 78c issued with no remedy in a timely manner. Had to move from HI to CA on military orders and vehicle is stuck in Hawaii until there’s a remedy because it cannot ship with this recall. Manufactures only advice was to leave at dealership until remedy is out. Dealership would not hold our vehicle until remedy is ready.

I cannot park my car in my garage or in my driveway for fear of the fire. This could happen while I am driving or parked. 2nd is that my Jeep could lose power and my Jeep could stop running while I am driving. This could happen on a highway going 65 MPH causing a crash which could kill or seriously injure myself, passenger and anyone else around. I received a recalls stating these warnings and that there are no fixes for it. I live in a townhouse development. If my car catches fire in my garage of my driveway all the houses will catch fire as well. And the 2nd goes without saying...I don't want to drive anywhere but to and from work. Crazy when I am making huge payments on a vehicle I cannot drive.

I have two open serious recalls on my Jeep Wrangler 4xe. There is a recall for the batter/charging system so I cannot plug it in to the charger I purchased for my home. I also have a continuing issue with my gas tank - it will not fill and the nozzel clicks off even though I have next to no gas in the tank. I can't charge the car, yet can't fill it with gas. I have brought it back to the dealership 3 or 4 times in the less than two years of owning the car. There is also a recall that effects the engine so I am scared to drive it on the highway. Basically I was tricked into leasing a $60,000 piece of absolute garbage. I can't get out of the lease early without having to -pay some type of penalty or losing money, which is really unfair. The company knows about these issues and took advantage of customers.

After the 68C / NHTSA 25V-741 Recall was completed, the Jeep can be difficult to drive and will dangerously lose power or accelerate unexpectedly. When driving in Electric Mode it will suddenly lose power and often start the engine abruptly. I've nearly been rear ended when it lost power, but also almost crashed into the car in front of me when the engine started abruptly and gave full power unexpectedly. This is a new characteristic since the recall was completed. I spoke with the dealer assistant service manager, and he said that unless the vehicle is displaying an error or warning, that it is operating as Stellantis has written the software for the recall. I spoke with Stellantis and told them of the severe safety issue, and that I feel unsafe driving it. Since I've been told this defect is normal, I asked for a refund/return. They said "sorry" and can't help me and referred me to arbitration. This is a defective vehicle that has been rendered even further defective. Stellantis refuses to take any responsibility.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4XE, and Jeep Gladiator vehicles. The electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring may overheat and cause a vehicle fire, even when the vehicle is parked with the ignition in the "Off" position.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A vehicle fire increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, until their vehicle is repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring and electric hydraulic power steering pump, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 9, 2026. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 46D. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. The remaining owner notification letters will be mailed at a later date. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 68C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 6, 2025. Consequence: A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of a problem increases the risk of a crash.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Jeep Wrangler and 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. A hybrid control processor (HCP) software error may cause the defrosting and defogging system to be inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An inoperative windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the HCP software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 04B.
