2024 Jeep Wrangler

The vehicle experienced a loss of motive power while stopped at a traffic light and would not accelerate when the accelerator was pressed. The failure appears related to the powertrain/electrical system. The vehicle was unable to move and required a restart to regain propulsion. The vehicle remains available for inspection upon request. This failure placed my safety and the safety of other road users at risk due to the inability to proceed through an intersection as expected, creating a risk of collision. The problem has not been reproduced on demand, but it has occurred at least once and is consistent with an active safety recall (A7C) related to loss of motive power. The issue has been discussed with the manufacturer and a dealer, both of whom confirmed that no repair or interim remedy is currently available. The vehicle has not been physically inspected by the manufacturer due to the lack of an available repair. No warning lamps or messages were present prior to the failure, and the loss of propulsion occurred without warning.

After the 68C / NHTSA 25V-741 Recall was completed, the Jeep can be difficult to drive and will dangerously lose power or accelerate unexpectedly. When driving in Electric Mode it will suddenly lose power and often start the engine abruptly. I've nearly been rear ended when it lost power, but also almost crashed into the car in front of me when the engine started abruptly and gave full power unexpectedly. This is a new characteristic since the recall was completed. I spoke with the dealer assistant service manager, and he said that unless the vehicle is displaying an error or warning, that it is operating as Stellantis has written the software for the recall. I spoke with Stellantis and told them of the severe safety issue, and that I feel unsafe driving it. Since I've been told this defect is normal, I asked for a refund/return. They said "sorry" and can't help me and referred me to arbitration. This is a defective vehicle that has been rendered even further defective. Stellantis refuses to take any responsibility.

The vehicle experienced repeated loss-of-power and stalling events while driving, including after a software update, which required the vehicle to be towed to a dealership. Similar drivability issues occurred earlier after purchase. The vehicle currently has multiple open safety recalls. Despite repeated attempts to work with the manufacturer and assurances of follow-up by assigned specialists, no direct contact or resolution was provided. My wife will no longer drive the vehicle because it has stalled due to software loads, and we can’t park it in our garage in fear of fire and there are other recalls as well. We bought it because it was electric and Jeep advised you should not plug it in to charge the battery.

After a bad OTA update in October, in November before the stop charge recall was issued I noticed on Nov 21, when in "ELECTRIC" mode, after 10 or so minutes of driving the vehicle loses the ability to accelerate past half application of the accelerator. This lack of power continues until the accelerator is FULLY pushed on the floor forcing the gas engine on and causing immediate and dangerous acceleration. After this incident on the 11/21, I didn't charge again until I had the 68C recall performed where the dealer told me they think it's fixed. On my way home from the dealer it happened again. From here I emailed the dealer over the holiday and sent them videos of the problem. I opened a case with Jeep and brought it in. I was then told they replicated my issue but that it's normal now since all the updates. They refused to go for a quick ride along and closed my Jeep case with no resolution or help. This problem that did not exist before the OTA update. I don't know if it's related to the OTA update or related to the A7C recall, wither way I don't feel safe driving this with any amount of charge in it, even though the dealer gave an OK to charge. The dealer wants nothing to do with addressing this because I think they can't fix it since there is no CEL or codes in the computer. I don't know what to do from here. i purchased this certified preowned vehicle in the month of 10/2025 from manahwkin jeep. ii drove the vehicle aproximately 1000 mile since i purchased it. i contacted the dealership that the vehicle is hybrid battery not staying charged and that the motor is stalling and losing power when i drive it along with abnormal sounds from the engine . i had to pull over and recycle the ignition numerous times . when i checked the oil i noticed that there was a dirt /sandy substance on the dipstick, the service advisor told me this is normal and i believe is abnormal . i feel my issues that i am experiencing are consistent with the current recalls 68c and 78c . i feel that the dealership is giving me the runaround

I am reporting an unresolved safety recall on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (recall 78C). This recall involves manufacturing debris left in the engine, which can cause sudden loss of power while driving and, in some cases, engine fires. There is currently no fix available for this recall. Despite the known safety risk, Stellantis is instructing owners to continue driving the vehicle. I have told the manufacturer that I do not feel safe operating a vehicle under an active safety recall with no remedy, but I was told there is nothing they can do. This vehicle is leased, and while a separate battery recall (68C) was addressed with rental reimbursement, Stellantis is refusing to provide any interim accommodation for recall 78C, even though it remains open and unresolved. Being told to continue driving a vehicle with a known risk of sudden power loss or fire, with no repair available, presents a serious safety concern for drivers and the public. I am concerned about the risk of an accident or fire occurring before a fix is available.

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is affected by multiple active safety recalls, including recall 25V-741 related to a high-voltage battery fire risk, recall 25V-710 involving software issues that may cause loss of propulsion, and recall 25V-766 concerning potential engine contamination from casting sand that could result in engine failure. These defects place my safety and the safety of others at risk due to the possibility of sudden loss of power, vehicle immobilization, or fire, including while the vehicle is parked. The vehicle has not experienced a fire or complete failure to date; however, the recalls have been confirmed by the manufacturer and dealer, and I have been informed that no permanent remedy is currently available, with estimates extending into 2026. I have received recall notifications and operational guidance, including limiting battery charging and taking safety precautions, which restrict normal use of the vehicle. No warning lights or fault messages have occurred beyond standard recall notifications, and the vehicle remains available for inspection upon request.

Vehicle experienced multiple simultaneous powertrain diagnostic trouble codes related to oxygen sensors and fuel controls, including O2 Sensor heater circuit high voltage, O2 Sensor circuit high voltage on multiple banks, rich fuel trim condition and manufacturer specific powertrain logic fault. vehicle in stock, under warranty and driven only on city roads. No off-road use or physical damage present. Issue appears to be systemic rather than isolated sensor failure and may involve wiring harness routing, sensor heater control systems or PCM Software logic. Symptoms include persistent check engine light and emission related faults that could lead to catalytic converter damage if left unresolved.

My vehicle is affected by multiple safety recalls related to the high-voltage battery / charging system. The recall instructions include safety restrictions such as not parking near structures/buildings and limiting/avoiding charging (or following specific charging precautions) due to a potential safety hazard (including fire risk). Despite these warnings, there is no available remedy/repair at this time, and an authorized dealer has confirmed the recalls apply but cannot complete the recall repairs. Separately (and repeatedly), while driving the vehicle has displayed a “STOP SAFELY / PULL OVER” warning message multiple times. Each time this occurs I must pull over immediately due to concern for a sudden loss of propulsion or unsafe operation in traffic. This creates a significant safety risk to me and others because it can occur unexpectedly and could lead to a crash, loss of power, or being stranded in an unsafe location. The condition has been reproduced multiple times. The vehicle is available for inspection. The exact root cause is UNKNOWN at this time, and I have not received a permanent fix.

This is a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. It currently has 22,700 miles on it. These issues began prior to 20,000 miles. The car stops driving with out warning. This has occurred on three occasions, while driving in traffic. It locks up, but power is still working. A message pops up that says put the vehicle in Drive...which it already is. It comes to an abrupt stop. It will not regain power. You have to power on and off multiple times to get it to start. Recently it failed to start (engine). Again, had full power, but the engine would not start. It also will not charge fully to 100%. The display screen will bling or go black, with no power. The steering wheel will shake uncontrollably while driving over 65-70 MPH. These issues began in summer 2025. One incident was in Sept. Oct, Nov, and Dec 13 was the last.
