Driving around a fire hazard Jeep. Jeep offer no rental even if it fails the 68c. Called Jeep dealership times and will not take in Jeep for recall. Jeep needs this recall done asap and offer a rental if need be. Rental reimbursement is a nightmare with stellantis and could be up to 2 month. If jeep wants to get a lawsuit from one day the battery catches fire then rather getting it fixed now then I know they have deep pockets

I was driving my car when it powered down and had an unrecoverable loss of propulsion. It's a miracle I didn't crash and kill myself or anyone else on the road. This aligns with NHTSA Recall Number 25V-766. Jeep dealer identified the issue is failed transfer case assembly, then had to replace transfer case motor, then updated the software for the electric battery, but that software update is an ineffective remedy for the recall. I'm afraid to drive car because it might spontaneously catch fire or power down while driving again, which is terrifying because you lose all steering control. My car has been at the Jeep Dealer in Lynnfield, Massachusetts since January 7, 2026. The Jeep dealer said they couldn't buy my Jeep from me because they can't certify it's safety due to open recall. I can't park car in my parking garage or anywhere in Boston per recall notice. Bought Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 4xe brand new 1/20/24 for $76,500 and have $25,000 of equity/payments in it, but it has a note of $52,500 outstanding and due to recall issues the car is only worth maybe $32,500 but should be worth at least $60,000. I want manufacturer to buy my car back from me because it's under warranty and they can't fix the battery in a way that makes it safe to drive or even park near anything.

My vehicle has been at the dealership since January 19 due to a defective hybrid battery, and there is still no estimated arrival date for the replacement. Back on October 10th, 2025, I took the software update related to the A7C recall. On October 11th, my vehicle became totally bricked and undriveable due to this update. I had it towed to a dealership where they supposedly "fixed" it by rolling the software back. However, my recall letter stated that this was not a permanent fix and there currently is none. It has been 4 months since this began and there is STILL no remedy or any updates on when a remedy may be available. This recall poses a dangerous risk for myself, other owners of 4xe's, and other drivers on the road as sudden loss of propulsion can lead to crashes. Submitting this report because while we were notified of this recall, Stellantis has not remedied it in a timely manner.

When running the vehicle in electric mode (and sometimes hybrid), there seems to be an issue with acceleration. When pressing the pedal, the vehicle begins to accelerate until it reaches around 50% power. Once that happens, it either barely accelerates or doesn't at all - even if you are pushing the gas pedal completely to the floor. After a short period of time, the engine kicks on to compensate, but there is of course a delay there and many times causes the vehicle to lurch forward. After taking my vehicle to the dealership twice for this, I was told that although Stellantis is keeping quiet about this, during the 68C recall software flash fix Stellantis installed something into the vehicles to essentially throttle the battery's power. They claim this is to avoid the battery from getting too hot. I was never notified that they would be completely altering the functionality of my vehicle and how it drives - which is inappropriate - and I believe this also poses a safety risk as the loss of propulsion/delay in acceleration and the lurching of the vehicle could cause an accident you're pulling out onto a road or are in traffic. Stellantis is claiming nothing was done to the vehicle and my dealership is now claiming it is functioning as intended, which makes sense because if they DID make this change, it is technically running how they want it to. However, I have had this vehicle for nearly 2 years and it NEVER drove like this before. I have also seen numerous posts and comments from other owners on the NHTSA website, Reddit, Facebook, and various Jeep forums mentioning they are having the EXACT same issues I am having, so I know it is not just my vehicle. This, along with the other recalls that STILL have no resolution is completely unacceptable and Stellantis would rather gaslight us into believing our vehicles are fine instead of owning up to the truth - that they are not.

1. Loss of motive power at freeway speeds (drops to ~40 mph) despite >40% battery charge 2. Uncommanded switching between electric and gas propulsion; driver cannot control the transition 3. Unintended acceleration in reverse / tire spin even after releasing accelerator 4. Steering wheel shaking at highway speeds → potential loss of control ***All of these items create a high risk of rear-end crash, parking-lot collision, and pedestrian/property hazard This is not “normal hybrid operation.” It is an intermittent propulsion control failure (loss of power + uncommanded acceleration behavior) that materially affects safe operation, so it should be handled as a warrantable defect and a safety defect, regardless of recall status. And because the vehicle cannot reliably maintain electric propulsion and instead experiences unpredictable loss of power and forced transitions to the gasoline engine—even with significant battery charge remaining—it is not functioning as a hybrid/electric vehicle as advertised. I paid an additional premium for hybrid/electric capability, but due to these propulsion-control failures the vehicle cannot be safely or consistently operated in electric mode and therefore is not providing the advertised hybrid/electric functionality.

I own a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe with approximately 14,000 miles. The vehicle is subject to multiple safety recalls involving fire risk and potential catastrophic failure. Recall 1 involves the high-voltage battery. The manufacturer instructed owners not to charge the vehicle and not to park near structures due to risk of fire. The recall notice states that not charging may lower the risk of fire. Recall 2 indicates that manufacturing contamination (dust/debris) may cause fire or catastrophic engine failure. No remedy is currently available and no repair timeline has been provided. To perform the battery recall, the dealership advised that the vehicle must be charged. However, the dealer indicated limited charger availability and no loaner vehicles, requiring the vehicle to be left for multiple days. Recall 1 has been repaired, but it took multiple attempts because the dealership was not properly equipped to handle it. Recall 2 remains outstanding. Due to manufacturer safety instructions and unresolved recall conditions, the vehicle cannot be safely or normally operated as intended. There is now a pattern of recalls involving acknowledged safety risks with potential fire and catastrophic failure. I sought manufacturer-sponsored arbitration regarding these safety concerns. Relief was denied on the basis that risk of catastrophic loss does not constitute a defect unless a failure event occurs... I am submitting this complaint due to concerns regarding vehicle safety, operability, and the absence of a timely remedy.

I have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe that was caught on fire at 2am 2/10/26 when parked in my garage. Jeep issed 68C recall for its defective EV battery, and I had finished the recall on 1/20/26 in Fremont CDJR in CA, but it was still caught on fire. I have every thing saved, Ring footage and invoices from the dealer about recall. Just want to report that the remedy from Jeep does not help at all.

My vehicle has an open safety recall (Campaign 78C) related to the hybrid system. The manufacturer has confirmed that no repair remedy or parts are currently available, and no timeline has been provided. Despite the unresolved safety recall, I have been informed that I may continue operating the vehicle. I am concerned about the safety risk of operating a vehicle with an unresolved safety recall and no available fix. I contacted the manufacturer (Jeep/Stellantis) to request documentation and review. While a case was initially created, I was later informed that a proactive repurchase is not being offered and that my request for continued review would not be documented or kept open. I am submitting this complaint to document the unresolved safety recall, the lack of an available remedy, and the manufacturer’s refusal to continue internal review of the safety concern. The recall notice did not include a consumer issue date; the date provided reflects when the safety recall was officially posted and became known to me.

Oct 21, 2025 •Vehicle became inoperable in the middle of a busy road following an over-the-air update. •Vehicle immediately came to a abrupt stop aggressively propelling both driver and [XXX] occupant. Tension, neck strain, and severe stress response. •This created a serious safety risk to occupants and surrounding traffic. Nearly causing multiple accidents @ 185th and Bronson road in Beaverton oregon. •Vehicle identified with three major safety recalls. All issues unresolved as of 2/12/2026. Unable to operate vehicle as intended due to recalls. Mid-January 2026 •Dealership informed you the vehicle failed recall testing. Meaning battery was and had been a significant fire risk. •You were told the vehicle would likely be unavailable for months, with no estimated completion date.
