THE TOTAL REPAIR WAS QUOTED AT US$1300. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM FOR HONDA CRVS AND I AM SURPRISE THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALLS YET. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUSTING THAT IN THE TIME OF THE ECONOMY WE ARE FORCED TO BEAR THE COST OF A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. HONDA SEEMS TO GIVE YOU A RUN AROUND EXCUSE. I LIVE IN CHICAGO WHERE 9 MONTHS OUT OF 12 MONTHS YOU DO NOT NEED AN A/C. THIS IS MY 4TH SUMMER AND ADDING THE MATH, THE A/C LASTED JUST A LITTLE OVER 9 MONTHS. PLEASE GIVE THIS. *TR

THE SIDE VISIBILITY ON MY 2007 HONDA CRV IS DANGEROUS. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS WITH ANY OF THE NUMEROUS VEHICLES I HAVE OWNED. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES AT A VARIETY OF SPEEDS. REGARDLESS OF HOW I SET THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS, I HAVE NEARLY CAUSED COLLISIONS BECAUSE OF THE 'BLIND SPOT.' BECAUSE I AM AWARE OF THIS DESIGN DEFICIENCY, I AM AS CAREFUL AS POSSIBLE WHEN CHANGING LANES, I USE MY SIGNAL, LOOK IN THE MIRROR, TURN MY HEAD AND THEN LOOK IN THE MIRROR AGAIN. NEVERTHELESS, THIS IS NOT SUFFICIENT. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WHEN I DRIVE OTHER VEHICLES. IF THERE IS SOME DEVICE THAT CAN BE ADDED TO THE CAR I WOULD SUGGEST DOING SO. *TR
WIPERS DO NOT SHUT OFF AFTER TURNING THEM OFF. WHEN THEY DO FINALLY SHUT OFF, THEY PARK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDSHIELD. ALSO, THE INTERMITTENT FEATURE DOES NOT WORK WHATSOEVER WHEN THIS OCCURS. THIS PROBLEM ONLY OCCURS DURING RAIN EVENTS. WIPERS WORK PROPERLY ON DRY DAYS. *TR
WINDSHIELD WIPERS DO NOT PARK OR TURN OFF. DISTRACTION WHILE DRIVING. SEE HONDA SERVICE BULLETIN 07-071. *TR

THIS IS THE THIRD WINTER WITH OUR 2007 HONDA CR-V AND THERE IS A HUGE DESIGN FLAW AFFECTING THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS DURING PRECIPITATION IN COLD WEATHER. THE SNOW AND ICE BUILDS UP IN THE LARGE WELL BENEATH THE WIPER BLADES,CAUSING THE WIPER BLADES TO GET STUCK ON THIS SNOW AND ICE, AS WELL AS THE FROZEN PRECIPITATION STICKING TO THE WIPER BLADES. WE HAVE TO CONSTANTLY STOP, GET OUT OF THE CAR AND BREAK UP THE ICE AND SNOW FROM THE WELL AND THE WIPER BLADES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY AND SAFELY. IT'S OUTRAGEOUS THAT A CAR THAT CAN BE PURCHASED WITH 4WD, CLEARLY MEANT TO BE DRIVEN IN SNOWY AREAS, WOULD HAVE THIS SEVERE DESIGN FLAW! HONDA REALLY NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS FLAW WITH A DESIGN SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM THAT CAN BE INSTALLED ON THIS CAR! *TR
THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW IN OUR 2007 HONDA CR-V. IN WINTER PRECIPITATION CONDITIONS, THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPER FREEZES.
