THE INSIDE LEFT TIRE DISINTEGRATED WHILE THE CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING, THE OUTSIDE TIRE HAD OVERHEATED AND WAS RUINED AS WELL. THE MECHANIC POINTED OUT THAT THE INSIDE VALVE STEM AND EXTENDER HAD RUBBED AGAINST THE WHEEL AND THE RIM CAUSING THE TIRE TO LOSE AIR. THE INSIDE LEFT TIRE DISINTEGRATED WHILE THE CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING, THE OUTSIDE TIRE HAD OVERHEATED AND WAS RUINED AS WELL. THE MECHANIC POINTED OUT THAT THE INSIDE VALVE STEM AND EXTENDER HAD RUBBED AGAINST THE WHEEL AND THE RIM CAUSING THE TIRE TO LOSE AIR. THE CONSUMER WAS SEEKING THE MANUFACTURER TO COVER PART OF THE COST OF REPAIR AND NEW TIRES REPLACED. *YH CONSUMER SAW RECALL FL277A, HOWEVER WAS TOLD HIS MOTORHOME WAS NOT INLUDED DUE TO THIS CHASSIS BEING BUILT WITH STEEL RIMS AND THE ONES ON RECALL WERE BUILT WITH ALUMINUM RIMS THAT HAD VALVE STEM EXTENSIONS INSTALLED BY FREIGHTLINER, CONSUMER REQUESTS REIMBURSEMENT FOR COST OF THE DAMAGED TIRES AND SERVICES. *SLC
