The contact owns 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, while depressing the accelerator pedal the automatic brake system engaged independently causing all four wheels to lock up. a dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to dealer where it was diagnosed that front camera bezel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired as the front camera bezel was replaced. The contact was relating the failure NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V334000 ( FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered no assistance and informed him he had to pay for the cost of repair. The failure mileage was 24,000.

When taking a turn from one street to another, my truck made a loud noise and every light went on my dash. A bunch of error messages then my truck stopped and could not move anymore. It could not shift either. I ws stuck in the middle of road then I had to pay to get it towed to the nearest Ford dealership on March 10th 2026. It is now May 5th. and I am still awaiting the fix of my truck. They say it is due to not having the parts to fix it. It is for the recall 25S82, but it is now almost 2 whole months with nothing.

The 10R80 transmission has a reputation for these issues. I took it into the Ford dealer for service and they found that the TCC solenoid was scored, fine metal shavings were found in the fluid indicating a torque converter failure, and the CDF drum was replaced because of a misaligned bushing. Luckily this vehicle is still under factory warranty but these issues are very prevalent.

When in drive, the vehicle will roll backwards when on a slope if you do not have your foot on the break. The torque converter and control body has been replaced by Gullo ford of Conroe TX. They state that i should use the auto break function. Ford itself states that i need to contact the dealer to rectify any problems with the vehicle. Ford refuses to do any additional work and state this is normal for this vehicle. This is a very dangerous situation for the vehicle if you are not paying attention or are not familiar with the vehicle.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2027 F-150 vehicles. The fuel tank may be improperly secured and leak fuel, or detach from the vehicle while driving.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A detached tank can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, a fuel leak can cause an engine stall or increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tank straps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 21, 2026. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to be obstructed by the infotainment home screen menu when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An obstructed rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed August 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in September 2026. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A detached wind deflector can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2025 F-150 vehicles equipped with the Trailer Tow Max Duty package and a 9.75-inch heavy duty axle with a 3/4 float axle design. The rear axle hub bolt may fatigue and break, which can result in damage to the axle hub splines.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Damaged axle hub splines can result in a vehicle rollaway when in park without the parking brake applied or cause a loss of drive power. Either of these conditions can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the left and right rear axle shaft assemblies, free of charge. This is a phased recall. Ford owners will receive letters in multiple phases, beginning August 2025 through Winter 2025. Phase 1 will include 2023 F-150 model year vehicles. Phase 2 will include 2025 F-150 model year vehicles and Phase 3 will include 2024 F-150 model year vehicles. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed August 22, 2025. Owner notification letters were mailed August 22, 2025. Consequence: A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A fractured pinion can result in a loss of 4-wheel drive and may cause the front wheels to lock up, increasng the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front axle pinion gear set. If there is a broken front axle pinion, the entire axle assembly will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
