TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 DAEWOO LEGANZA. THE CONTACT RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL NOTICE NUMBER 01V180000 (STRUCTURE FRAME AND MEMBERS). ON JUNE 20, 2007, SHE TOOK HER VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE SAFETY RECALL REPAIR MADE. SHE ALSO WANTED TO KNOW WHY SHE HAD TO KEEP ADDING ANTIFREEZE IN THE VEHICLE. AFTER THE DEALER DIAGNOSED HER VEHICLE, THEY STATED THAT THE TIMING AND SERPENTINE BELTS HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED SINCE SHE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER FOUND NO FAILURE REGARDING THE ANTIFREEZE. UPON ARRIVING HOME THAT EVENING, SHE NOTICED ANTIFREEZE LEAKING FROM HER VEHICLE AND IT WAS OVERHEATING. SHE RETURNED TO THE DEALER THAT SAME EVENING AND A DISPUTE AROSE REGARDING THE REPAIR WORK AND THE ENGINE COVER LOCK THAT WAS BROKEN. THE END RESULT WAS THAT THE CONTACT DID NOT BELIEVE THAT THE DEALER MADE ANY OF THE REPAIRS FOR WHICH THEY CHARGED. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 75,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,653.
