TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 WINNEBAGO RV, MODEL WF239B (NA). WHILE CLEANING THE BEDROOM AREA IN THE RV, THE REAR SLIDING PANEL FELL OFF. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PANEL WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WILL BE NOTIFIED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 20,000.

DECORATIVE REAR AXLE COVERS, WHICH ARE HELD IN PLACE BY WHEEL RIM LUG NUTS, DO NOT ALLOW THE LUG NUTS TO RETAIN THE PROPER TORQUE.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: LUG NUTS COULD LOOSEN, ALLOWING THE WHEEL TO SEPARATEFROM THE HUB, WHICH COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy: REPLACE DECORATIVE AXLE COVERS WITH COVERS WHICH HAVE BEEN CORRECTLY MANUFACTURED.
