IF LIQUID IS SPILLED FROM CUP HOLDER WHICH SITS IN THE CONSOLE AREA OF VEHICLE, IT WILL CAUSE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. THIS OCCURRED WITH THIS VEHICLE. CUP HOLDER SITS OVER COMPUTER CHIP WHICH CONTROLS AIRBAG AND SEAT BELTS. *AK

THE THREADED INSERT WHICH ATTACHES THE SAFETY BELT CATCH TO THE FRONT SEAT WAS INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED.
Consequence & remedy Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE RESTRAINING CAPABILITY OFTHE SAFETY BELT IN SEVERE COLLISIONS.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE THREADED INSERT IN THE AFFECTED FRONT SEATS.

Consequence & remedy Consequence: A RAISED VEHICLE CAN FALL OFF THE JACK INCREASING THE LIKELIHOOD FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE SUSPECT JACKS WITH A JACK MEETING THE LOAD REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE CARS.
