MY FIRESTONE WILDERNESS TIRE EXPLODED JUST AS THE OTHERS HAVE BEEN DESCRIBED. YET MY TIRE SIZE AND MANUFACTURER LOCATION IS NOT ONE THAT IS BEING RECALLED. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE RECALL TO BE EXPANDED AND IT HASN'T . A LOCAL FIRESTONE STORE ON ERIE BLVD. IN SYRACUSE, NY INFORMED ME THAT THE RECALL IS ONGOING AND WILL PROBABLY EXPAND. I HAD TO CHANGE A SIDEWALL EXPLODED FLAT ON THE HIGHWAY IN 90 DEGREE HEAT AND THEN A YEAR LATER I FIND THAT THE SAME THINGS WERE HAPPENING TO OTHERS ONLY WITH MORE DRASTIC RESULTS. MY EXPERIENCE LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THE LOCATION AND SIZE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
