There is an interior design defect on the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross XSE regarding sharp, overlapping hard plastic edges located directly underneath the steering column and lower dashboard assembly. The clearance in this specific area is too narrow for normal vehicle ingress and egress. As a result, the driver's knees repeatedly strike and scrape against this sharp plastic seam when getting in and out of the vehicle. This has caused multiple bodily injuries within two months of ownership: a recent open skin abrasion with bleeding on the right knee, and a dark scar from a previous injury two weeks ago on the left knee. This recurring injury hazard poses a safety and ergonomic risk to drivers.

I own a 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross XLE with very low mileage. The windshield cracked unexpectedly and Toyota replaced the windshield under manufacturer warranty on February 9, 2026. Shortly after the replacement, the windshield cracked again. The vehicle currently has only a few thousand miles (3315 mileage) I am concerned there may be a defect involving the windshield, vehicle structure, frame stress, or windshield installation. The issue has now happened more than once on a nearly new vehicle. The repeated windshield cracking creates a safety concern because it affects visibility and could compromise driver safety while operating the vehicle. Toyota has escalated my case internally for further review. The windshield and repair history are available for inspection upon request.

Driver’s side front window shattered seemingly spontaneously. Car was locked and parked overnight and found in morning with shattered window. No other signs of damage to car, no rock found next to car/window. Took to nearest toyota dealership who did take pictures and told me they would file a report.
