52 reportsWHILE DRIVING 40 MPH AND TRAVELING ON WET SURFACE, PRESSED THE BRAKE AND PEDAL WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR, CAUSING A COLLISION . CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER. *AK
ABS WARNING LIGHT REMAINS ILLUMINATED, INDICATING A MALFUNCTION WITHIN THE SYSTEM, CAUSE UNKNOWN. DEALER CANNOT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. *AK
BRAKE SYSTEM CONTINUALLY EXPERIENCING NOISE, REPLACEMENT OF THE PADS AND ROTORS DO NOT RECTIFY PROBLEMS, SERVICE BULLETIN ISSUED FOR BRAKE SYSTEM. MJS
WHEN BRAKING THERE IS A LOUD CLUNCKING SOUND. MY HUSBAND TOOK THE CAR TO A TOYOTA REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE BRAKES WERE SLIPPING AND THAT THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE THIS WAS THE BRAKE DEIGN. I'M CONCERNED THAT THE CONSTANT SLIPPING WILL EVENTUALLY RUIN THE BRAKES. THUS, ENDANGERING ANYONE IN THE CAR.
THE VEHICLE SPINNED ON THE FREEWAY FROM HARD BRAKING TO AVOID ANOTHER VEHICLE THE FIRST INCIDENT AND FROM GENTLE BRAKING THE SECOND INCIDENT.
THE BRAKING SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONED, CAUSING EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE AND A STEEL TO STEEL NOISE. DEALER CANNOT DETERMINE PROBLEM. *AK
BRAKES EXPERIENCE EXTENDED BRAKING DISTANCE.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND STEPPING ON THE BRAKES, THE BRAKES MAKE A GRINDING SOUND, AND THE DRIVER IS VERY CONCERNED ON SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER SAYS THAT THIS IS HOW THE BRAKES SUPPOSE TO SOUND WHEN APPLYING THEM. *AK
VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN ON FREEWAY, DUE TO FAILURE OF THE RELAY ASSEMBLY CIRCUIT.THE RELAY ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE STEERING WHEEL SET NUT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENTLY TIGHTENED CAUSING STEERING VIBRATION AND LOOSENESS.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THIS CAN RESULT IN A LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL TIGHTEN THE STEERING WHEEL SET NUT.
