THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS A FIVE YEAR/60,000 MILE WARRANTY ON THE SEAT BELT; HOWEVER, THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE SEAT BELT. THE FAILURE WOULD COST $200 PLUS $150 PER HOUR IN LABOR. MY MOTHER WAS DRIVING HER 2004 TOYOTA SCION XB ON HER WAY TO CHURCH. TURNED ONTO BATON CHAPEL RD. TRAVELING AT 40 MPH, STARTED SLOWING DOWN DUE TO THE FACT THAT SHE WAS APPROACHING A LIGHT WHERE SHE WOULD HAVE MADE HER TURN, AND ENDED UP REAR ENDING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HE. AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY, AND THE SEATBELT SHE WAS WEARING AT THE TIME DID NOT HOLD HER BACK.
