Summary

CROSS STEERING LEVERS MAY BE IMPROPERLY HEAT TREATED AND SUBJECT TO FAIL DURING NORMAL OPERATION.

Consequence

SUCH FAILURE COULD CAUSE LOSS OF TRUCK CONTROL WITHOUTPRIOR WARNING AND RESULT IN A CRASH.

Remedy

INSTALL NEW, PROPERLY HEAT TREATED STEERING LEVER.
