THE WIPER ARM ATTACHMENT TO THE DRIVE SHAFTS CAME LOOSE CAUSING THE WIPER SYSTEM ON THE DRIVER SIDE TO BECOME INOPERATIVE. THERE IS AN ACTIVE RECALL ON THIS, (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 02V142000) BUT I HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY PREVOST THAT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE MY COACH NUMBER, I BELIEVE IT SHOULD AS IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR

ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES AND MOTOR COACHES, THE WIPER ARM ATTACHMENT TO THE DRIVE SHAFTS CAN COME LOOSE CAUSING THE WIPER SYSTEM ON THAT SIDE TO BECOME INOPERATIVE.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A LOSS OF VISIBILITY COULD OCCUR INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL WINDSHIELD WIPER DRIVE SHAFTS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN FEBRUARY 27, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT PREVOST AT 1-418-831-5432.
