IT IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE TIRES FOR THE MOTORCOACHES. THE TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE WITH LARGE BUBBLE WHEN THEY WERE FILLED WITH AIR. WE HAD NO INCIDENT BECAUSE WE DID NOT USE THEM AFTER WE FOUND OUT THAT PROBLEM. WE CONTACTED THE RETAILER I & E TIRES AT 611 SMITH STREET, BROOKLYN, NY 11231 AND THE MANUFACTURER CONTINENTAL TIRE…

IT IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE TIRES FOR THE MOTORCOACHES. THE TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE WITH LARGE BUBBLE WHEN THEY WERE FILLED WITH AIR. WE HAD NO INCIDENT BECAUSE WE DID NOT USE THEM AFTER WE FOUND OUT THAT PROBLEM. WE CONTACTED THE RETAILER I & E TIRES AT 611 SMITH STREET, BROOKLYN, NY 11231 AND THE MANUFACTURER CONTINENTAL TIRE COMPANY TO REPORT THE PROBLEMS BUT WE DID NOT GET ANY ANSWER FROM BOTH PARTY. THERE WERE OVER 10 DEFECTIVE BUS TIRES WE CANNOT USE BUT EITHER THE RETAILER NOR MANUFACTURER WOULD LIKE TO RESPONSE FOR IT. *TR

ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES AND MOTOR COACHES, THE WIPER ARM ATTACHMENT TO THE DRIVE SHAFTS CAN COME LOOSE CAUSING THE WIPER SYSTEM ON THAT SIDE TO BECOME INOPERATIVE.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A LOSS OF VISIBILITY COULD OCCUR INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL WINDSHIELD WIPER DRIVE SHAFTS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN FEBRUARY 27, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT PREVOST AT 1-418-831-5432.
