MY COMPANY PURCHASED THIS TRAILER (NEW) FROM B & G LANDSCAPING & TRAILERS IN PUNTA GORDA FL.. YESTERDAY I OPENED THE SIDE DOOR AND IT FELL OFF AND STRUCK ME. THE DOOR WAS NEVER PROPERLY INSTALLED, AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE FACTORY IN THIS UNSAFE CONDITION. I HAVE PICTURES OF THE DOOR HINGE THAT I CAN SEND IF YOU GIVE ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND THEM TO. THE DOOR HINGE WAS DRILLED IN THE WRONG PLACE, BUT INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE FRONT PANEL AND RE-DRILLING THE DOOR HINGE IN THE RIGHT PLACE, PACE AMERICAN RE-DRILLED THE DOOR (RIGHT NEXT TO THE ORIGINAL HOLES) WITH ADDITIONAL HOLES THAT OVERLAPPED THE ORIGINALS. THIS CONDITION WOULD NEVER ALLOW THE PROPER TORQUE TO BE APPLIED TO THE HINGE. THIS WAS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. *JB
