2007 Nissan Armada

I called the manufacturer, Nissan Consumer Affairs at [XXX] - After entering my VIN# the automated computer system stated there is no recalls for my vehicle, even though your NHTSA Vehicle Safety Website lists the following recall: February 09, 2023 Manufacturer Recall Number: PC947 NHTSA Recall Number: 23E-012 Recall Status: Recall Incomplete Please advise how to fix this recall. The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Armada. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23E012000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The failure mileage was unknown. I was driving in traffic and my breaks went out and I almost got in a collision. The breaks at first didn't work and then were bouncing and grinding to stop and the break warning light came on. I swerved and barely missed another car. I pulled over in a parking lot there was a burning smell and let it sit for 4hr. I took it to get the breaks fixed an they couldn't find any issues with the breaking system except for the Delta Stroke Sensor Failure. I understand this has a been an ongoing issue with cars. One situation killed 3 people and Nissan lost a $25M lawsuit on this. I can't understand why this wouldn't be on a recall as issues with the breaking system is life threatening. My car is now at Nissan getting fixed, has been there for 2 weeks, they still can't figure out the issue with the Delta Sensor breaking system. This is very serious and no matter what age of the car, should be covered under a recall. You can find hundreds of articles online to understand how many cars are affected. Please look into this and issue a recall.

ABS MALFUNCTION WHILE DRIVING ,IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IT GRINDS AND IT WILL NOT STOP RIGHT AWAY IM SCARED IT WILL CAUSE ACCIDENT.THE PROBLEM DISAPPEAR WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE ENGINE.THEN IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN LIGHTS WILL COME ON BRAKES GRIND AND YOU WONT BE ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE RIGHT AWAY.I ALMOST HAVE A CRASH A LOT OF TIMES WHEN THIS PROBLEM HAPPEN.PLEASE INVESTIGATE TO ALL NISSAN ARMADA OWNERS.
