TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 LEXUS GX43, EQUIPPED WITH NEXEN TIRES N5000 245/40/R18 XL. WHEN THE TRAFFIC LIGHT CHANGED TO GREEN AND TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TIRE BLEW UP. THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND WENT OVER A SIDEWALK AND DAMAGED THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER LEXUS OF WINTER PARK, 305 N SEMORAN BLVD, WINTER PARK, FL 32792, THEY REPLACED THE FRONT AND REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRES. THE TIRES WERE AFTERMARKET ITEMS, THEY WERE NOT OEM. THE TIRE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000 AND THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,000.
