MY CHECK PCS AND VBS LIGHTS CAME ON AND WENT OFF. I CONTINUE TO DRIVE AND MY BREAKS WORKED FINE FOR A WEEK. DRIVING HOME ON A SIDE STREET CROSSING A BRIDGE AND A PIERCING BEEP CAME ON AND WOULD NOT GO OFF. I THINK THAT WAS AN INDICATOR RO PULL OFF THE ROAD. I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND SLOWLY GUIDED TO SIDE OF BRIDGE AND CALLED MY HUSBAND. I HAD A DIAGNOSTICS AND WAS TOLD THAT IS ABS ACCELERATOR AND THAT AND THE PART IS $2500 WITHOUT LABOR. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD THAT MY BRAKES GAVE OUT AND SHOULD BE ON THE RECALL LIST. MY CAR IS 2006 GS430 WITH 106,000 MILES.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 LEXUS GS430. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE CONTACT DROVE THROUGH A SMALL PUDDLE OF WATER. THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING. THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS STIFF AND THE CONTACT COULD NOT STEER OR BRAKE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A PARKED VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,000.
