VEHICLE WAS IN PARK, WITH THE ENGINE STILL RUNNING AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS NOT ON, THE VEHICLE JUMPED REVERSE AND HIT A PARKED CAR CAUSING DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES, THE DEALER WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE WHILE STILL IN PARK, THEY FOUND METAL SHAVING IN THE OIL PAN AND STATED THE TRANSMISSION WAS DEFECTED.*JB
VEHICLE WAS PARKED, AS CONSUMER WALKED ABOUT 10 FEET AWAY, ALL OF A SUDDEN HEARD ENGINE RACING AND VEHICLE BEGAN TO MOVE, CONSUMER TRIED TO STOP VEHICLE BUT WAS KNOCKED DOWN AND BRUISED CONSUMERS LEG, VEHICLE HIT TWO PARKED CARS.*JB
THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING BUT WENT IN REVERSE ON ITS OWN AND CRASHED. *YH
WHILE IDLING IN PARK WITHOUT ANY INDICATION VEHICCLE JUMPED INTO DRIVE WHILE CONSUMER WAS OUT OF VEHICLE. PASSENGER DEPRESSED BRAKES TO STOP VEHICLE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
CONSUMER PUT VEHICLE INTO PARK AND EXITED VEHICLE, VEHICLE BEGAN TO MOVE, SO CONSUMER JUMPED IN TO TRY TO STOP IT, HOWEVER CONSUMER HIT ACCELERATOR INSTEAD OF THE BRAKE CAUSING FASTER ACCELERATION AND A CRASH, CONSUMER WAS INJURED IN ACCIDENT DUE TO BEING PINNED BETWEEN TWO VEHICLES AND BEING DRAGGED BY THE VEHICLE. *SLC

WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN PARKING GEAR, STILL RUNNING, IT SHIFTED FROM PARK INTO REVERSE ON ITS OWN, HITTING A TREE AND THEN SHIFTED TO DRIVE. THE BODY DAMAGE HAS BEEN REPAIRED. NO PROBLEMS FOUND WITH THE TRANSMISSION. *AK
