the engine stopped working. The dealer said a new was required since the engine no longer had enough compression in one cylinder. The car had only 83,000 miles. In talking with other repair shops, they said this is a common feature in many 2015 XFs.

My vehicle has about 68k miles, I have always serviced the vehicle properly. While driving the car my steering locked up and my vehicle lost all power on a busy road with my children in the car. Luckily we are safe but this is very dangerous. Every mechanic says this is not normal and should not have happened at this mileage or without a huge impact and they all agree it is a safety hazard especially since the car gave no waring of engine needing to be serviced.
