THERE MAY BE PAINT IN THE FIXING FLANGE BETWEEN THE PROPELLER SHAFT AND DIFFERENTIAL GEAR WHICH COULD CAUSE THE FIXING (ATTACHING) BOLTS TO LOOSEN. THIS MAY RESULT IN THE SEPARATION OF THE PROPELLER SHAFT FROM THE DIFFERENTIAL UNIT.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: SEPARATION OF THE PROPELLER SHAFT MAY CAUSE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL WHICH MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy: DISCONNECT THE PROPELLER SHAFT, REMOVE PAINT FROM THE FIXING FLANGE AREAS, RECONNECT THE PROPELLER SHAFT AND TORQUE BOLTS TO SPECIFICATIONS.
