TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HYUNDAI XG 350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 15 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN AND THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL SEIZED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HYUNDAI XG 350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 15 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN AND THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL SEIZED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE VEHICLE, WHICH CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO A STREET POLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO CONTACTS RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V124000 (SUSPENSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 119,000.

WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED. THIS CAUSED THE CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE GARAGE. *AK *SC *JB
