Unnecessary alarm that does NOT do when it says it does and overrides any other sound or alarm I should actually be listening to.

Blindspot detection did not pick up car on my right side two times. Front collision warning is effected by the angle of the sun at certain times of the day. Dashboard dims randomly. Could be for a minute or much longer. Could dim on and off, or stay dimmed for over twenty minutes. Brought the car in twice for this problem. Claimed nothing found and tech reset the codes. Bought it in two weeks later, stating problem not fixed. Told them to check connection, suggested they might want to replace the cables, and its a known problem. Again, reset the codes. Only this time they fiddled with the dimmer control on the console and I can no longer adjust the setting.

The vehicle will continuously pop up the notification “Consider Taking A Break” while driving at highway speeds when using the adaptive cruise control. When this occurs it emits 6-7 audible beeps that distract the driver from the wrong and to look towards the instrument cluster. It was also turn down the infotainment system as well. This feature is unable to be turned off in the settings z it has continuously distracted my driving and made it more unsafe while driving at highway speeds. It makes the adaptive cruise control not worth using which is more harmful for a driver to continually have to accelerate and decelerate.

There is a camera mounted on the steering column that is "supposed" to be a safety feature to tell you when you are not paying attention to the road. It gives you a picture of a coffee cup and says "consider taking a break" along with repetitive beeping. Unfortunately, if you wear sunglasses (mine are prescription), a hat, are too short or too tall it can go off repeatedly. It is extremely distracting and causes you to take your eyes off the road to see what's going on. On a 350 mile trip that I make often, it has gone off for a solid hour every 4 minutes! It averages about 30-40 times in that 5 1/2 hour trip. It also mutes anything that is playing through the infotainment system including directions. I have asked the dealer who says there is nothing they can do and it is a known problem. Hyundai says it is functioning as designed. I have also filed a report with Hyundai. A safety feature that causes distractions is not a safety feature! Also, the emergency braking has almost caused me to get rear ended on a number of occasions. I have been in the process of slowing down or braking when the emergency system kicks in and almost throws me through the windshield. Cars following at a reasonable distance have to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting me. Isn't this feature supposed to help you avoid accidents, not cause them

Control screen keeps going randomly blank, for different periods of time, putting the driver at risk, because the vehicle information, including speed, lights, wipers, basically everything is displayed in this screen. Sometimes the sentence NO SIGNAL shows up. I had experienced several scary situations, specially in freeways when raining, you have zero driving information. The car has been to the dealership service 4 times, with different tentatives of repair, none of which worked. The last time my car was at the dealership service for 25 days and after 2 days the problem was back, even worse. Sometimes all the lights of the control screen light up, with no reason and keep on even after the car is turned off. This is our only car and we need it, but the car is absolutely unsafe and unreliable. I refuse to leave the car for a 5th time, Hyundai has no idea what the issue is and obviously cannot fix it. The lane assist is also malfunctioning, sometimes the warning system doesn’t work properly. Twice the car emergency brakes stopped the car abruptly without a reason to do so (no risk of collision, no car or object in front ). One of those times the car behind me almost hit me, because the stop was abrupt and for no reason. I have many videos and pictures, but apparently I cannot upload the videos in this form. I have the paperwork, but Hyundai refused to refund for the vehicle. I highly recommend an investigation, Hyundai is getting away with a very serious problem and someone will get hurt as a result of these issues. Thank you for the attention.

2025 Hyundai Tucson SEL Convenience The car is equipped with FAW Forward Attention Warning System which is supposed to give a warning if the driver's focus is diverted from looking at the road. The problem is that while driving in what Hyundai calls HDA (Highway Driving Assist) which activates when the car is placed in adaptive cruise control (cruise control that keeps the vehicle at a set speed and distance from the cars ahead) and lane driving assist (driving assist to keep the vehicle centered in the lane) the car issues far too many false warnings telling the driver to "keep your eyes on the road". While in HDA, the car monitors the driver's eyes and head position using a driver facing camera, part of the FAW (Forward Attention Warning system) or DDMS (Direct Driver Monitoring System) to assure the driver is focused on the road ahead. However, in the 2025 Hyundai, this system is so flawed that the car is practically undrivable in the HDA mode with cruise control and lane driving assist engaged issuing too many false warnings, that the driver is not focusing on the road. The multiple warnings, in some cases every few seconds, is extremely distracting taking the driver's attention away from safely controlling the vehicle. The system which is intended to make the vehicle safer is instead such a distraction it makes the car unsafe due to the constant false warnings requiring driver attention to address them and away from safely operating the vehicle.
