Update Summary: This update concerns the persistent, severe Electronic Stability Control (ESC) steering malfunction previously reported. Current Status of Issue: The ESC steering defect remains unresolved. The vehicle was taken to an authorized Hyundai dealership on July 15, 2025, for re-diagnosis. The technician reported being unable to find any fault, despite the clear, dangerous, and recurring symptoms of steering control loss and near-collisions. Manufacturer's Response: During this recent service visit, Hyundai continued to refuse to provide a loaner vehicle for the diagnostic and repair period. An authorized Hyundai dealership performed the "ESC SOFTWARE LOGIC UPDATE (24-01-065H-1)" on June 6, 2025.
