20 reportsWHILE DRIVING TRANSMISSION INTERMITTENTLY SLIPS INTO DIFFERENT MODES. AT TIMES IT EITHER IDLES TOO HIGH/TOO LOW OR OPERATES NORMALLY,ALSO,ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUTDOWN. *AK
HAD ENGINE REPLACED 5 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE, 3 YEARS LATER VALVES HAD TO BE REPLACED, SEVERAL PROBLEMS W/ AC, BRAKES, INTERIOR ITEMS SUCH AS KNOBS, AC OUTLETS BROKEN. TRUNK WILL NOT OPEN WITH THE KEY OR AUTOMATICALLY, CAN ONLY GET TO IT THROUGH THE BACK SEATS.
NO SUMMARY
BRAKES:DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35MPH AND BRAKES COMPLETELY FAILED. PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND STIIL THERE WERE NO BRAKES. BROUGHT VEHICLE FOR REPAIR, AND WAS TOLD THE CALIPERS WERE GONE/BRAKE PADS WORN /BACK END SPINDLE STRIPPED AND THE REAR END WAS COMPLETELY GONE.
NO DEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAG IN ACCIDENT, CAUSING INJURY, ALSO SEATBELT FAILED IN ACCIDENT.
THE COMPUTER SYSTEM HAS GONE OUT, THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS BEING REPLACED. *AK
WHILE AT STANDSTILL, VEHICLE REARENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE WHILE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, DRIVER'S SEATBACK BROKE, COLLAPSED BACKWARDS, CAUSING DRIVER TO FALL COMPLETELY BACKWARDS. *AK
WHILE DRIVING THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE IS MAKING A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE AND IS BOUNCING FROM SIDE TO SIDE. PLEASE DESCRIBE. *AK
