TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REVERSING, THE RACK AND PINION SCREW FAILED CAUSING THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE TO COLLAPSE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT THE DEFECT WAS NOT RECALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 199,875.

VEHICLE'S TIE ROD BROKE WHILE DRIVING CAUSING TIRE TO TURN TO A 90 DEGREE ANGLE BREAKING THE AXLE AND DAMAGING FRONT FENDER.*MR WHILE DRIVING AT APPROX. 65 MPH THE CONSUMER HEARD A POP NOISE AND THE VEHICLE DECELERATED WITH A SCREECHING SOUND. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. *PH *JB
