I HAVE ALSO HAD TO REPLACE AN EXHA UST MANIFOLD @ $550- ONTHIS CAR PURCHASED NEW. I NOW HAVE AN ABS LIGHT THAT MAY GO BACK ON DUE TO FAULTY MODULATOR. PLEASE ADVISE # OF MODULATOR FAILURES AND/ OR ANY RECALL. ALSO , THERE IS NOISE IN SPEEDOMETER THAT DEALER CANNOT DETECT.*AK
ABS SYSTEM FAILED. YH
ON ANNUAL INSPECTION, RIGHT REAR DISC AND PAD SHOWED EXCESSIVE WEAR/SCORING ALTHOUGH ALL OTHER DISCS & PADS WERE NORMAL. DISASSEMBLY SHOWED INNER PAD WORN ONLY ON PARTIAL AREA OF SURFACE. PADS WERE BOTH ADEQUATELY INTACT SO THEY WERE NOT THE SOURCE OF SCORING. SOURCE OF SCORING NOT FOUND. *AK
UNDER CARRIAGE DEVELOPING RUST DUE TO CORROSION. THIS RUST DEPOSIT IS ALSO GETTING INTO THE ABS SYSTEM, AND CAUSING ERRATIC OPERATION OF THE BRAKES WHEN APPLIED. CAN NHTSA HELP IN THIS MATTER. *AK
MASTER CYLINDER FAILED TO OPERATE AT 39,000 MILES DUE TO A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. CAN NHTSA PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS MATTER *YC
