I am submitting this complaint regarding Honda’s unreasonable delay in completing a safety recall on my vehicle. I purchased three brand-new Honda vehicles because I trusted Honda’s reputation for quality and safety. Unfortunately, all three vehicles became subject to safety recalls. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this issue. I personally visited 7 to 8 Honda dealerships throughout [XXX] and [XXX] and contacted Honda America Customer Relations multiple times. As a result of those communications, Honda arranged a recall part for one of my vehicles, and the repair was completed at Ball Honda. However, my vehicle with VIN [XXX] remains unrepaired because the required recall part has still not been provided. My vehicle has been unusable for approximately one and a half months. This vehicle is essential for my business. Because it is subject to an active safety recall, I cannot responsibly use it or allow my employees to operate it until the recall is repaired. As a result of Honda’s delay, I have suffered significant financial losses, including: Continuing to make monthly loan payments on a vehicle I cannot use. Paying out of pocket to rent replacement vehicles. Losing business income and opportunities. Business disruption caused by the prolonged delay. I believe Honda has failed to remedy this safety recall within a reasonable period of time. I respectfully request that NHTSA review Honda’s handling of this recall and the prolonged delay in providing the necessary repair. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Visibility/wiper

Washer for windshield does not clean windshield. Had to pull of highway to manually clean windshield so I could continue to drive. HONDA of Denton told me that washer is normal. New style for CRV.

We were pulling into a parking space and were almost completely stopped. Suddenly the gas engine revved and we jumped the curb and crashed through the glass front of the restaurant we had ordered food from. as it lurched forward my wife was pressing on the brake yelling it won't stop! The engined revved without any pedal usage. The automatic braking system did not function. Called the dealer and of course they have never heard of such a thing. I talked with the dealer adn they recommended going ahead with the body repairs and then take it to a Honda dealer to run a diagnostic to see if any abnormalities show up. There were no warning signals at all. It happened so quickly. The car ended up going completely through the glass fron and when it stopped it had hit the cashier counter and was completely inside the restuarant. We are so thankful there were no patrons eating in the restaurant at the time.

Driver side mirror shakes at highway speeds. Not the outside but the mirror itself. It’s been replaced twice and still does it.

Vehicle Information: 2026 Honda CR-V Sport HybridComponent: Power Train / Hydraulic Brakes / Electronic Stability ControlDescription of Incident:On [Date], my 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid was parked facing uphill on a steep incline. I started the vehicle, depressed the brake pedal, released the electronic parking brake, and shifted into Drive. Upon transitioning to the accelerator, the vehicle failed to hold its position. It immediately and rapidly rolled backward down the incline, completely overriding the Hill Start Assist (HSA) mechanism. Despite accelerator input, the hybrid powertrain failed to deliver the instantaneous forward torque required to counter gravity. The vehicle gained rearward momentum and collided with a closed gate.Safety Justification:This un-commanded rollback presents a severe, systemic safety hazard. Research into hybrid consumer data reveals a documented pattern of drivers being blindsided by the lack of traditional automatic transmission "idle-creep" torque on inclines, combined with counter-intuitive electronic HSA deactivation thresholds. The vehicle’s software logic fails to safely manage dual-pedal inputs during hill starts, creating an unreasonable risk of rollback collisions.

I am filing a formal complaint regarding Recall 26V-366 for my 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid (VIN: [XXX]). I have been waiting for more than three weeks for the required recall part. Honda has informed me that the part is still on backorder and that no one can provide an estimated delivery or repair date. I have been told that the part is not available in California. I rely on this vehicle for my daily work and income. Because Honda cannot provide the required recall part within a reasonable time, I am suffering significant financial losses every day. While I understand that recalls are sometimes necessary, it is unacceptable for a manufacturer to issue a safety recall without ensuring that repair parts are available. Customers should not be left waiting indefinitely without a solution. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate Honda’s handling of Recall 26V-366, including the prolonged lack of available parts and the absence of any repair timeline. I also request that Honda be required to provide affected customers with a prompt and reasonable remedy. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
