THE ECU KEEPS MALFUNCIONING IN WARM WEATHER AS AS THE CAR GETS WARM FROM LONG DRIVES. THE CAR WILL NOT START AND HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. WE WERE VERY LUCKY OUR STEERING WHEEL LOCK DID NOT LOCK AS WE STEERED OFF THE ROAD AND TO A STOP. *AK

WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE AT 35 TO 40 MPH VEHICLE STARTED TO LOSE POWER. ALSO, FLAMES WERE COMING FROM UNDER VEHICLE AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT. INSURANCE COMPANY NOTED CAUSE OF FIRE WAS DUE TO A WIRING HARNESS WHICH CONNECTS TO BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR. *AK
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE LURCHES AND LOSES POWER AND STALLS INTERMITTENTLY WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING WHICH ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. DEALER REPLACE ROTOR CAP/IGNITION WIRE/COMPUTER CHIP AND COIL, BUT CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM. BEEN TO DLR 6 TIMES. *AK
