The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Palomino. The contact stated that shortly after purchasing the travel trailer, it was discovered that line seams and cracks were present in the floor of the coach of the vehicle. The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Palomino. The contact stated that shortly after purchasing the travel trailer, it was discovered that line seams and cracks were present in the floor of the coach of the vehicle. Additionally, appliances had moved slightly out of position inside the unit. The trailer was taken to the local dealer who determined that the trailer needed a support bracket to support the sub-center of the vehicle. No further information was available. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 25.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Palomino trailers. The antenna wing may not be properly secured to the roof, allowing it to detach from the roof while moving.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: If the antenna detaches while moving, it can be a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, repair or replace the antenna, free of charge. The recall began November 23, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-269-432-3271. Forest River's number for this recall is 400-1243.
