Component failure: Winntec Model 6020 two stage propane regulator,I have regulator Regulator failed and has been recalled by many major RV manufacturers. Extreme fire hazard if regulator fails to perform and not regulate the amount of pressure coming from the propane tanks. Can result in extreme flames from appliances and cause fire that can endanger lives. Jayco has issued a recall NHTSA#21V-425TC#2021-367, Highland Ridge#21V-430TC#2021-369,StarcraftRV#21V-431TC#2021-368, and probably numerous other manufacturers. NO warnings or letters of recall have been issued by Forest River to this point that I am aware. When I found out that this model regulator had been recalled by other manufacturers I immediately called Forest River on 3/1/22 and spoke to "Austin" who advised there was no recall based on my VIN. I advised him of my research and he advised that he would consult with "others" about the problem. I called him the next day and he again advised there was nothing he could do since no recall associated with my VIN. Jayco was sending recall notices to owners in August 2021 to take RV to dealer for replacement of regulator. WHY HAS THERE BEEN NO NOTICE TO FOREST RIVER OWNERS REGARDING THIS EXTREME SAFETY HAZARD ON MODELS EQUIPPED WITH THIS REGULATOR?

I was traveling ~65 mph towing my camper when one of the tires on the camper threw it's treads off, damaging my camper. I had my wife and two young children in my car coming home from a weekend camping trip. I have diligently tracked the mileage I've put on the camper tires and there are ~6810 miles on the tires which recently passed as part of my annual camper inspection. I also put RV tire covers on the tires when it is parked in my driveway for more than a week to keep the sun off of them and the camper gets stored in an underground mine over the winter. Resulting damage was not bad enough to keep me from driving it home, but I did have to call a tow company to help remove the tire and get the spare on. I will be taking the camper in to the dealer to get the damage fixed and will have to submit it to my insurance company. There were no warning signs that there were issues with the tire.
