The contact performed an inspection on the trailer and discovered that his LP tanks were consuming propane at an accelerated speed. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer where he informed them that he would not take possession of the trailer until the trailer was repaired. The contact stated that while the trailer was being repaired, the stove caught fire while a technician was inside the trailer; he was also informed that the fire had caused damage to the inside of the trailer which they would also repair. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that his vehicle was placed under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V243000 (EQUIPMENT) which he linked to his failure. The manufacturer was notified about the fire but offered no assistance. The vehicle remained in possession of the dealer and had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 35.
