THIS TRUCK HAD WELL OVER 300K MILES AND MR (YYYYY) HAD THE MILAGE TURNED BACK AT LEAST THREE TIMES. I BELIEVE IT STATED ABOUT 37K AT TRADE IN. HE MET THE DEALER ON 166 AND HAD TO PULL OVER TO PROGRAM THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT RIGHT BEFORE TRADING IT IN. I AM NOT SURE OF THE TRADE IN DATE OR VINDICATION BUT I'M POSITIVE THE MILEAGE WAS TURNED BACK 3 TIMES THAT I AM AWARE OF. HE TOOK IT FOR OIL CHANGES AND NEW TIRES SO SOMEWHERE HE HAD TO SLIP UP AND THE MILEAGE WAS LOGGED. THAT'S SECOND TIME THAT I TOOK IT IN THE SERVICE MANAGER ROAD IN THE TRUCK AND FELT THE VIBRATION AND SAID THAT IT WAS BAD. THEY KEPT THE TRUCK FOR 24 HOURS AND THEN CALLED ME AND TOLD ME IT WAS NORMAL. THEY SAID THESE TRUCKS WERE MADE TO CARRY WEIGHT THAT'S THE REASON WHY IT VIBRATES . THIS IS ALSO A FOUR-DOOR TRUCK WHICH CARRIES PASSENGERS. THE VIBRATION IS SO BAD THAT IF THERE WAS A BABY IN THE BACKSEAT SLEEPING IT WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SLEEP. THE VIBRATIONS THOUGHTS ABOUT 60 MILES AN HOUR ON THE HIGHWAY . THEY STARTED HAPPENING FROM THE DAY I PURCHASE THE TRUCK IN DECEMBER 2016 .

ALSO FROM END ABS SEEMS TO ENGAGE WHEN GOING AROUND A BEND AND THEN SUPPOSEDLY THE AUTO CORRECT KICKS IN AND TRIES TO CORRECT THE TRUCK PULLING STEERING WHEEL. WAS TOLD THEY TESTED ONE TRUCK AND IT DID IT ONE TIME,THIS IS AFTER THEY PUT IN COUNTLESS HRS ON LABOR PLUS A $1000 INTO A NEW STEERING COLUMN AND DETERMINED THAT IT IS NORMAL OPERATING CONDITION. DIDN'T BUY IT FOR THIS GOD FOR SAKE NOISE . AS FOR THE HISSING,TOLD ME TO DETAIL THE TRUCK AND THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO DO ANYMORE FOR THIS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE FIRST WEEK OF BUYING THIS TRUCK. OVER AND OVER TO THE DEALERSHIP,THEY KEEP PUTTING NEW PARTS ON. IF THIS IS NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS,THAN WHY DON'T THEY KNOW WHAT TO REPLACE AND KEEP PUTTING MORE TEST AND PARTS. NO ANSWER ON THE HISSING SOUND AND VERY VERY RUDE MANAGERS AT DEALERSHIP.

The Office of Defect Investigations (ODI) has received 27 complaints alleging diesel fuel leaks due to a fracture in the secondary fuel filter housing in model year (MY) 2015-2021 Ford Motor Company (Ford) F-250, 350, 450, and 550 Super Duty vehicles equipped with 6.7L diesel engines. Of these complaints, 12 describe an engine compartment fire. The proximity of the secondary fuel filter to high heat sources creates a potential for autoignition thermal events and fires. ODI has contacted the vehicle manufacturer, Ford, and the filter manufacturer, Allevard Sogefi USA (Sogefi), and learned that the low-pressure fuel system is capable of a maximum operating pressure of 8.5 Bar, while the secondary fuel filter is only tested to seven (7) Bar during the manufacturing process. Additionally, changes starting in 2022 by both Ford and Sogefi align with a lack of similar complaints on MY 2022 and newer vehicles. ODI is opening this Preliminary Evaluation (PE) to evaluate the severity of the potential problem and to fully assess the potential safety-related problems. To review the ODI reports cited in the Opening Resume ODI Report Identification Number document, go to NHTSA.gov.
