2024 Front A/C blower cutting in and out without warning. Called Dealership and had Fords recall #22S56, item affected: electrical system, wiring, interior/ under dash. This involved the front A/C blower failing. Only thing replaced during Mobile visit then was the blower motor. Now March 2025 had the same issue again with front A/C blower cutting off/on without warning. Called same Dealership again and was told I had to bring the vehicle in to have diagnostic check to further check the Recall issue. After diagnostic completed, was informed that the blower motor resistor and the connector were melted. Had the repairs completed same day at $802.74.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, while depressing the brake pedal, there was no resistance, requiring the contact to depress the pedal forcefully to slow down the vehicle, with the message "Low Brake Fluid" displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was advised that the brake master cylinder, brake booster, and the vacuum sensor were faulty and were possibly the cause of the failure. The contact was informed that the brake master cylinder, brake booster, and the vacuum sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 65,744.

Driving vehicle on road and car lost all acceleration power. The check engine light appeared and the problem was diagnosed as a faulty throttle body. This exact same issue has been identified as a recall item with an extended warranty (ten years or 150,000 miles) on other Ford vehicles but for some unknown reason the 2017 expedition is not covered. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE... I did speak to Ford and they offered no assistance.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sparking sound coming from the engine compartment, after which there was an abnormal burning odor inside the vehicle. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V648000 (Visibility, Electrical System); and the VIN was included, parts were available; however, the contact was informed that the wiring harness was not included in the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.

I have a receipt for the engine but the replacement cost wont be ready until next week. Ive contacted Ford and had a feedback case sent to them and plan to write a letter to Ford consumers affairs .

The contact stated that upon his wife starting the vehicle, she observed that the steering wheel had turned all the way to the left, after which she became aware that the electronic power steering was not functioning as needed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V542000 (Steering), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89. Consequence: A brake fluid leak can cause reduced brake function and extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
