TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM2820 (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REFRIGERATOR CEASED TO OPERATE AND HE NOTICED A YELLOW RESIDUE ON THE BACKSIDE. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT A CRACK IN THE BOILER TUBE CAUSED THE FAILURE. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE REFRIGERATOR COOLING UNIT. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT HIS MODEL NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 06E076000 (EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE). THE PART NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE CONSUMER STATED PURCHASED A REPLACEMENT COOLANT UNIT AND RETURNED THE DEFECTIVE UNIT TO DEALER FOR CREDIT. THE COST OF THE REPLACEMENT UNIT WAS THE AMOUNT OF $570. UPDATED 12/12/07 *TR
