The vehicle has less than 600 miles on the odometer. The passenger side tie rod separated from the steering knuckle while driving causing a sudden and total loss of steering control. The vehicle has less than 600 miles on the odometer. The passenger side tie rod separated from the steering knuckle while driving causing a sudden and total loss of steering control. Thankfully it was at low speed so the danger was mitigated. The nut holding the tie rod to the steering knuckle is missing. The vehicle was towed to a Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge dealership where it awaits an inspection and repair.
