I HAVE A 2008 CHRYSLER SEBRING CONVERTIBLE LIMITED WITH A CLOTH TOP. THE TOP MECHANISM IS DEFECTIVE AS I JUST HAD TO HAVE THE TOP REPAIRED FOR THE THIRD TIME. IT SEEMS THAT EACH TIME ONE OR ANOTHER MECHANISM HAS FAILED. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AS THE TOP USUALLY FAILS HALF WAY UP AND HAS TO BE TOWED IN. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS IS A FREQUENT DEFECT ON THESE NEW CARS. *TR
WHILE RETRACTING THE CONVERTIBLE TOP, THE TOP RETRACTED INTO THE TRUNK AS USUAL, THE TRUNK LID REMAINED UPRIGHT AND WOULD NOT GO DOWN. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THE CONVERTIBLE TOP SWITCH AND THE CAR COULD NOT BE DRIVEN. *TR
