THE REAR SUSPENSION, BUSHING AT THE END OF THE SPRING IN REAR SUSPENSION ON PASSAGER SIDE IS GONE AND THE ONE ON THE DRIVER SIDE LOOKS LIKE IT IS ABOUT TO COME OFF. THE SQUEAKING NOISE FROM THE BACK STARTED A COUPLE OF MONTHS A GO BUT WAS HARDLY NOTICEABLE TILL THIS LAST WEEK OR TWO. THE RUBBER BUSHING ITSELF CANNOT BE REPLACED WITH OUT BUYING THE SPRING ASSSEMBLY FROM GM. WE HAD TO ALSO REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AT ABOUT 50000 MILES AND FOUND THE REAR BRAKES C ALPERS FROZEN, THE DEALER GOT THE REAR BRAKES UNSTUCK. BUT WE STILL HEAR NOISE WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLYED . WE DID HAVE THE ENGINE REPLACED AT 58,100 MILES IN 3/5/98 FOUND #6 PISTON WORN . WE REACHED AGREEMENT TO HAVE NEW ENGINE INSTALLED AT 50/50 COST WITH GM GOODWRENCH SERVICE REPLACEMENT ENGINE WITH LIMITED WARRANTY 36 MONTHS/50,000 MILES

REAR SUSPENSION FAILURE, BUSHINGS AT THE END OF THE SPRING IN REAR SUSPENSION ARE RUBBING TOGETHER, WHEN RUBBER BUSHINGS ARE GONE THE STEEL TO STEEL CONTACT.
MISALIGNMENT. CAUSING EXCESSIVE TIRE WEAR. *AK
TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES. TT

THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT SEAT MANUAL RECLINING MECHANISMS DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 207, "SEATING SYSTEMS." THE SEAT BACK MECHANISMS WILL NOT LATCH UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THE SEATS MAY RECLINE WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING, RESULTINGIN A HAZARD TO SEAT OCCUPANTS AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.
Remedy: REPLACE THE MANUAL SEAT RECLINER MECHANISM WITH A MECHANISM THAT COMPLIES WITH FMVSS 207.
