Called on star and they can't connect to the car and that the telematics module is probably bad. Checked my Chevrolet app and it reports that it hasn't connected to the car for over 6 months. Just purchased a used 2025 RS EV on 5/2/2026. When I got home I found out the Google maps and on star app wasn't working. Called on star and they can't connect to the car and that the telematics module is probably bad. Checked my Chevrolet app and it reports that it hasn't connected to the car for over 6 months. Now waiting for replacement part going 3 weeks now. A little pissed off that dealer did find before they sold me the car.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025 Chevrolet Blazer, Blazer EV, and Equinox vehicles. The door strikers were not properly heat-treated, which can cause them to break.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A broken door striker can cause the door to open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace all four side door strikers and attachment bolts, free of charge. All affected vehicles are still in dealership inventory and therefore no owner notification letters are expected to be mailed. Owners may call Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N242477131.
