Aug 22 Parking brake will not release AGAIN. This has happened multiple times. This is a known issue and has been reported multiple times. This needs to be address/fixed by BRP! Sept 2021, I had to manually disengage parking brake to get the bike to move. I drove it without a parking break until I could get it in to the dealer. Dealership claimed it was a low battery issue and reattached the parking brake. Aug 2022, same issue waiting for the dealership to come pick up my bike for repair because I it not drivable.

Service Brakes
PARKING BRAKE FAILED TO DISENGAGE AFTER BEING PARKED IN A PARKING LOT. RESET AND DISENGAGED AFTER A THREE HOUR PERIOD. THIS THE SECOND TIME THIS OCCURS. MODULE HAS BEEN REPLACED ONE YEAR AGO AND NOW THE SECOND MODULE IS FAILING.
Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Can-Am Spyder F3 and RT motorcycles. The engine output shaft may fatigue and break, resulting in a loss of drive power.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The output shaft will be replaced based on the mileage of the vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2025. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222.
Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (BRP) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Can-Am Spyder F3 and RT motorcycles. The front sprocket may be defective and prematurely wear, resulting in a loss of drive power.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will perform an interim repair until parts become available. Once parts are available, the front sprocket will be replaced, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 26, 2022. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222.
