When entering a left hand turn at moderate speed, the vehicle will go into a lurching, bucking, hesitation period, usually when under slight or moderate acceleration. This results in an uncontrolled wobble that will eventually smooth out but can also result in a sudden burst of power that tends to rapidly propel the vehicle further to the left unless the throttle is quickly relaxed. Hard to describe, but the sensation feels like you are being “squirted” out of the turn. I first noticed this barely a month after I took possession of the machine and thought it might be a normal handling trait. As I became more acquainted with the various user’s groups, I find it was not normal and a much more serious problem that apparently hasn’t been successfully addressed by the manufacturer over the years it has been reported. Unlike some of the others who have reported similar occurrences, my vehicle has not displayed any error codes on the display screen, nor has it gone into a limp mode. Due to these conditions, I will not take this vehicle on any road trips for fear of being stranded or involved in an accident being caused by this dangerous handling anomaly. I love this vehicle, but due to this issue, I don’t feel it is safe.

I reported the issue to the dealer and they attempted to correct the issue, but it has continued to fail. I contacted BRP the parent company, and they refused to respond. There have been 2 safety recalls and I am no longer feeling safe to ride the vehicle.

I got a VSS fault code (C0063) that sent my Ryker into a limp home mode which greatly reduced the speed at which I could travel. This code indicates a problem reported from the yaw sensor. I got a VSS fault code (C0063) that sent my Ryker into a limp home mode which greatly reduced the speed at which I could travel. This code indicates a problem reported from the yaw sensor. Had I been on an Interstate highway, this could have possibly been a serious situation. I was about 10 miles from home but made it home safely. This fault code seems to be a recurring problem to many Ryker owners and I feel that BRP should either make a new sensor, eliminate it completely or look at the overall design of the vehicle to possibly discover a flaw in the frame, etc. This code can only be removed by taking the vehicle to a reputable dealer that has the proper equipment to do it and unfortunately these dealers are few and far between. The closest one to me is 50 miles.

C006C C0063. 3 TIMES I ALMOST GOT HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE BECAUSE OF THIS NEW CAN-AM RYKER HAS ISSUES. AND IT CONTINUES. BRP IS NOT HELPING THEIR DEALERS AND DEALER TECHNICIANS TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS. MY DEALER WHO SOLD ME MY BRAND NEW 2022 CAN AM RYKER 600 ACE, HAVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND, THEY HAVE GIVEN ME A LOANER VEHICLE TO USE. BUT BRP IS NOT HELPING THEM RESOLVE THE ISSUES. THESE UNITS ARE GETTING DANGEROUS.

A Facebook member of a group suggested I check number 7 fuse. I did and it was blown. It says it’s for electrical module. It’s 10 amps. I replaced and bike worked again. Next day it blows at an intersection when I’m stopped at a light in traffic. No power again. Pull over and blown number 7 fuse again.
