Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2026 AN Series, 2023 AA Series, 2022-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2025 AM Series vehicles. The Bendix automatic braking system was not recalibrated after relocating the front radar box.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An improperly calibrated system may have a delayed braking response, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Altec will update the collision mitigation system with the revised the parameters, recalibrate, and test the system, free of charge. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Digger Derrick vehicles. The vertical center of gravity with poles in the pole rack was not calculated properly, resulting in an incorrect pole rack capacity rating.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: While using the pole rack at full capacity, an incorrect high vertical center of gravity during braking and cornering may lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Digger Derrick and 2021-2025 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The chassis engine may start unintentionally due to a missing diode in the Altec power distribution module.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An engine that starts unexpectedly increases the risk of injury to anyone near the engine compartment during maintenance operations.
Remedy: Altec will provide instructions to inspect the power distribution module for a diode, and provide a repair kit as necessary, free of charge. Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2011-2025 Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and 2022-2025 Service Body vehicles. The cable step wire rope assembly may be improperly secured, which can allow the cable entry step to detach from the vehicle.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A cable step that fails during use increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the cable crimps. If the cables are improperly crimped, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to replace the wire rope assemblies. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The front winch bumper may be secured with incorrect bolts, which can cause the bumper to detach from the vehicle.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A front bumper that detaches can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. In addition, the bolts can fail suddenly during winch operation, increasing the risk of injury.
