The contact owns a 2025 Acura Integra. The contact stated that while driving through an intersection at approximately 15 MPH, another vehicle ran the red light and struck the front passenger’s side of the vehicle, causing the contact to crash into another vehicle before coming to a stop. The contact stated that upon the initial impact, his wife's head struck the front passenger’s side window. The contact stated that there was a delay in the side curtain air bag deploying, and the passenger was trapped between the air bag and the side window. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard. A Police report was filed. The passenger was taken to the Emergency Room for medical treatment. The passenger was the only one injured in the crash. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
