EXCESSIVE VALVE TRAIN NOISE. HAS BEEN DISCOVERED TO HAVE HAD THE CAMSHAFT AND LIFTERS IN THE MOTOR ARE WORN PREMATURELY. 2 REPLACEMENT CAMSHAFTS AND 4 LIFTERS ARE NEEDED TO REPAIR THE ISSUE. LOSS OF POWER IN THE MOTOR WAS EXPERIENCED. FRONT BRAKE SWITCH STICKING IN THE ACTIVATED POSITION LEAVING THE BRAKE LIGHT TO STAY ON. AL…

EXCESSIVE VALVE TRAIN NOISE. HAS BEEN DISCOVERED TO HAVE HAD THE CAMSHAFT AND LIFTERS IN THE MOTOR ARE WORN PREMATURELY. 2 REPLACEMENT CAMSHAFTS AND 4 LIFTERS ARE NEEDED TO REPAIR THE ISSUE. LOSS OF POWER IN THE MOTOR WAS EXPERIENCED. FRONT BRAKE SWITCH STICKING IN THE ACTIVATED POSITION LEAVING THE BRAKE LIGHT TO STAY ON. ALSO AFFECTS THE CRUISE CONTROL BY NOT LETTING THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGE. THE ONLY NOTIFICATION IS CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM BLINKS THAT THERE IS A FAULT IN THE SYSTEM. BRAKE LIGHT IS STAYING ON AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME, IF SHUTTING OFF AT ALL. THERE HAS BEEN NO SUPPORT OF THE EXCLUSIVE GPS SYSTEM SINCE THE BIKE HAS BEEN PRODUCED AS FAR AS MAP UPDATES. SAME MAP INFORMATION IS STILL ON THE BIKE WITH YAMAHA GIVING NO UPDATES TO DATE ON THEIR TOOLBOX APPLICATION.
