TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 YAMAHA ROYAL STAR 1300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP. INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES INCREASED THE RISK FOR A VEHICLE CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND A TECHNICIAN CONCLUDED THAT BECAUSE THERE WAS HEAT BUILD-UP IN THE BREAK SYSTEM, IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY BEING REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
