33 reportsCONSUMER STATED VOLVO MOVED THE TANKS BACK 18 INCHES TO TAKE THE WEIGHT OFF THE FRONT AXLE, NOW THE TANKS GET COVERED WITH ROAD DIRT AND MUD ON THE CATWALK, VOLVO REPLACED THE FRONT WHEELS AND TIRES WITH 11R22.5 TO CUT DOWN ON THE WEIGHT, HOWEVER THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WAS STILL TOO HEAVY.*JB
THE VEHICLE SHOCKS WERE BAD AND CAUSED TIRE WEAR. THE DASH SHORTED OUT AND THE SPEEDOMETER READS INCORRECTLY. THE LUG NUTS CONSTANTLY COME OFF THE WHEEL. THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL ON THE A/C SYSTEM BUT HAS BEEN UNABLE TO FIND A DEALERSHIP WILLING TO MAKE THE REPAIRS. *TT *NLM

THE VEHICLE HAD COME WITH NO U-BOLTS ON THE REAR AXLE, IN 385000 MILES 3 DRAG LINKS, 11 ALIGNMENTS, ONE SET OF 4 U-BOLTS AND ONE SET OF REAR U-BOLTS WAS INSTALLED ON VEHICLE, CONSUMER ALSO STATES THAT THE BACK U-BOLTS BROKE OFF. *YD THE TIRE LIFE/PER TIRE IS 70K MILES. *SCC
THE FRONT BOLT ON THE DRIVESHAFT YOKE WAS LOOSE DUE TO A VIBRATION IN THE FRONT, AND THE STEER TIRES ARE CUPPING. *TT THE CONSUMER HAS EXPERIENCED WIRING HARNESS PROBLEMS AND A PAINT DEFECT. *SCC
SLEEPER CAB UNIT KEEPS GOING OR ALIGNMENT CAUSING CAB TO LEAN ON DRIVERS SIDE AND VIBRATES ABRUPTLY MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR TWO PEOPLE TO DRIVE TANDEM, THE DEALER HAS MADE MANY ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT CONDITION BUT THE FIX IS ONLY TEMPORARY, THE BOLTS ON THE CAB CONTINUE TO SHEAR OFF. NLM
